Well that’s the end of the jump season, hard to believe it’s been won by an Irishman although he’s head and shoulders above everybody else so maybe it’s also a sign of the future. Roll on next season !
Nobody has to convince you, you are not making any decisions. Anyone can have an opinion but racing will go on as it is for years to come, it will be tweaked round the edges to make it as safe as it can be but that’s all.
It’s amazing that you don’t even follow the racing and yet you consider yourself to be an expert on all aspects of it!

Right now, on a normal Friday afternoon there are five meetings going on, plenty of runners, plenty of viewers and punters. Why on Earth would anyone think it’s a good idea to ban it ?
Says who ? I don’t see the public demanding an end to racing, every year at grand national time there is a bit of a muttering about banning that one particular race but that seems to be the extent of the discussion.
I don’t really understand why you don’t react when she pees indoors ? I get it with a little puppy who is learning but your dog should know it’s not the place to go. If she was mine I wouldn’t be so tolerant and I would shout NO.
A dog was tired up outside my local shop a few weeks ago, on a very busy road and six hours later was still there!
Was a cocker spaniel so all those who worry a dog would disappear in minutes, no one took him and he just sat quietly until finally a shopper who had been in the shop in the morning...
Do you really have to say that every time? We know how you feel but she is a seriously good horse, brilliantly trained and ridden and could go on to be a superstar.
I very much doubt it’s anymore than the stewards asking Paul what happened which they always do if a well fancied horse pulls up. I would be amazed if they said the horse should have continued regardless.
