I am putting my horse out on full loan and need to draw up a contract but i've never done this before so i'm not sure of the wording. I basically want to say that this is a 6 month agreement and they cannot sell him on. What else do I need to consider? Also, what do I pay for and what do I ask...

I don't have a lot of money to get a professional/horse trainer involved. I was thinking of moving to a yard where there are more experienced people who could help me but I think this would unsettle my horse even more.

Something is telling me not to sell to this buyer and I normally trust my instinct. She has now asked if she can pay in installments. I've really started to get somewhere with him and I'd never forgive myself if he went to the market or worse. He needs someone to understand him and be kind to him.

Also, the buyer wants to collect him without seeing him which seems strange to me?? I have been completely honest about all of his 'issues'.

The vet said I could have him put to sleep but there is nothing physically wrong with him and there are times when he has even fallen asleep on my shoulder! But the next day he will be frightened again. I can't seem to find the trigger.

No, unfortunately she's too far away. She asked if I had tried 'natural horsemanship' but not too sure what that is? Everyone at the yard is a bit wary of my boy, he is much better behaved for me than anyone else (to lead etc), that's why I feel like i'm sort of gaining his trust.

I think he has had a lot of owners and i'm worried that pushing him from pillar to post will make it worse. The girl seems very nice who wants to buy him but you can never be certain. I don't want to fail him but I am at my witts end. I just don't know what to try next.
