As said, I'm not having a go at people with foreign rescues, I just want uk dogs to ne considered first
And no of course you don't have to have a breed you don't like but the small/cute/puppies/dogs that are good with everything go QUICK. You probably won't see them in the kennels or on the...

Hope link works, fantastic book and there's a short version in pdf on website.
Having worked in rescue for many years I have every breed and type be available for rehoming. Some breeds are unusual and you will probably have to put name on a waiting list. If you are looking for the perfect dog that's good with everything then there are loads over here - they tend to go...
Absolutely. And is why so many people and organisations (NDWA, RSPCA, Dogs Trust etc) are against BSL. It isn't fair and doesn't work.

Not had one where chip been obviously removed but aware it has happened on occasional basis. Have however had...

Why should we pay for anything Alec??
The Environmental Protection Act 1990 puts the statutory duty on councils to provide a dog warden service. The reason for collecting and containing strays is because they can potentially be a danger to the public, cause traffic accidents, foul, tear open...
Agree with some of your points katikins, I am an animal warden for a council and have dealt with situations like those on the programme many times.
The puppies were one of those frustrating visits where yes I don't think there was formal action that could be taken - there's a lot that has to be...
