Should a mare in foal be rugged? She does come in if the weathers really awful but mostly she's out in the field. If i put a rug on her now I'm worried she'll be to fat to fit into it next year :p would it be better to just go without from the beginning?

Try spillers conditioning cubes? That's what my mum feeds her thoroughbred who was always on the skinny side. It gives energy but without adding to her stressy behaviour and she now has put on weight not to mention it's given her a fabulously shiny coat! Might be worth a try? x

Try putting the tablet in the middle of a glace cherry. My horse was super fussy about the tablets but the cherry masked the taste x

Practise small jumps and don't over jump him. When you come into a jump keep him as straight as possible and don't expect him to jump keep your legs on the whole way also if he does jump big try not to catch him in the mouth so he doesn't get a yank in the teeth for jumping even if it's twice...
