I am moving to Haywards Heath early Oct with 1 horse, used mainly for dressage. Looking for DIY with some assisted. Must have good arena surface, individual turnout, good size stable and hacking. Happy to drive up to 30 min (Max) from HH.

I have two and have had two for a few years, for a number of reasons. I like competing and don't want to do 'overdo' it too much, they have company, I can give them both lots of time off and still have one to ride!

Excellent advice by MandyMoo! Another thing you may find helpful is to make sure you are able to adjust your canter stride easily and effortlessly. So start with a nice working canter, working on a large circle, ask for a a slightly more collected, uphill canter but keep moving the energy...
