Is it just for one horse?
I would likely keep the driest part of the larger field fenced off for winter, use during early summer but rest over autumn to allow for good grass coverage.
Then alternate between the smaller paddock and the other half.
Only concern would be shade in smaller one during...
Premier Flex plus from equine answers is great, has devils claw for pain relief which in my experience has worked very well with a noticeable difference
A close friend lost her horse to colic totally suddenly a few months ago and since then i have just become completely paranoid about my own horse colicking. I am really struggling to leave the yard at night out of fear there is something “off”. I also frequently end up driving back later in the...
I have had no issue with emailing them in the past. I recently ordered some new blades and they did take a while to come with no order updates, but they did arrive fine!
I'm having the exact same problem with the equimins powder, my mare will normally eat anything but thinks this is disgusting! I've tried varying amounts and currently I'm able to give her just a tiny amount which I'm going to very gradually build up, thinking of trying apple cider vinegar to...

Thank you all for your responses it's been really helpful. I think I've narrowed it down to equivite, selenavite or topspec lite, just need to decide which seems best.
Looking for a vit/min supplement for my 17yr old mare, currently working six days a week usually hack x4 and school x2, totals about 7.5 hours a week. She is currently having hay and a handful of pony nuts. Think she needs a little more oomph so was considering trying a supplement/ balancer...
Our hard standing consists of a good layer of gravel with paving slabs on top in the stable and doorways, then the rest of the area is just gravel as our land is very muddy. In the stables there are rubber mats over the slabs and we have no issues with them moving or anything.
If you're going to be doing regular fairly hard work I would say clip and just go for a low trace. If you want her rugless through winter you could just do it now and it should have grown back by the time it gets cold. This time of the year they often get very warm as the weather is relatively...
