I bought a beautiful Wentworth saddle today which I'm very happy about considering it was only £90!
So here's the issue. I have a Shires Optimus that I had a saddler out to but neither the N/M or M gullets fit her properly as she has absolutely no topline at the moment. It also doesn't suit...
Not quite PX but I swapped a TB schoolmistress for a young well bred WB from a college stud. All contracted so all parties knew where we stood.
My previous YO always PX her horses! She had a beautiful WB who started refusing to jump the heights she wanted to, literally went to a show with one...
She is completely none weight baring - literally holds her leg up in the air and refuses to move more than a couple steps.
Thankyou faith123 - the vet didn't cut as nearly as much away as on your horse's hoof. A little hole on the white line on the sole.
It breaks my heart seeing a horse...
Went to get the horses in Friday morning, and L didn't come when called which is very unusual.

Instantly called...

Love Topspec, use their balancer and cool conditioning cubes. Within a week it has made a drastic improvement. Cannot rate their customer service highly enough either.
And as much hay she can eat!
Ohhh why aren;t you near me!
£25 per week per stable so £400 pcm. Although this does depend on the yards location as like webble has said, you could easily ask for more if near a town/city or excellent hacking etc..
I spoke to Topspec last week about feeding my underweight poor doer. The advice they gave was second to none. She's already put on weight since Thursday on their balancer, cool conditioning cubes and chaff.
Really rate them!
I found the yard I rent advertised in my local feed/agricultural supplier.
Occasionally you see land to rent in the local newspaper classifieds.
If you're looking I would definitely spread the word and put adverts everywhere!
Agree with Rudolph_bum. Having been on a yard that's a RS you rarely are able to use the school after school times, weekends a.d holidays.
There is also nothing like having friends on a yard. They can really motivate you to keep going when times are tough. Its also nice to go to shows and...
