Good luck with it! If it's boredom and he's already out as much as possible then it may just be something you have to carry on living with :) the only downfall is the stigma attached to wind sucking :(

Section D's or a Cob type sounds like it would suit, 14hh upwards! You're not going to squash anything!! :)

Your horse will very easily pick up on the fact that you are on edge - making them nervy too. Get a friend to walk with you or a hacking buddy, for your own peace of mind. Only push yourself out of your comfort zone a little at a time.. don't over face yourself!

Do it! Our indoor has carpet and it really prevents dust build up - probably isn't much of a problem for you in an outdoor but it may prevent some bogs!

Wind sucking can't be classed as being caused by one specific reason. It is very individual for each horse; windsucking does not cause ulcers but can be related to some health issues due to the build of air. I'd suggest getting his tummy checked for peace of mind but its not necessary, a good...
