Compared to say 20 years ago it strikes me that vets are less happy in their work and owners are less happy with practices.
I predict that over the next 10 or so years people will gradually reduce the number of animals they keep and there’ll be a contraction of the profession.
I agree that many aspects about being a vet must be very hard. Not least because of a general deterioration in manners and so forth alongside high expectations. Also to point out that mistakes in some professions can result in multimillion £ claims against a practice and a long-fought for career...
My number one request of cyclists is please do not come flying round blind bends, particularly as part of a group nattering away occupying the whole road.
My number two request is slow down around horses and give them space.

Yes, ‘most’ of every category of road users are helpful. And a special 👍 for motorcyclists. I think they have greatly improved this last 10 years or so. No I’m not a motorcyclist. I ride, drive and cycle.
I’m probably stating the obvious (so apols) but clipping below the knee (ditto skull) you’re not clipping skin lying over a deep bed of muscle. So will probably feel very different.
I am not persuaded. I would not like a 4yo of mine doing one.
Long ago I had a horse do well in a few classes. I’ve reflected and learnt more. I’d not repeat that.
Maybe good long term investment. Might have long term development potential eg expansion industrial estate? Have you checked for past planning applications for the land and flood risk?
