Has anybody got any idea where I could buy a really long riding coat - you know the type of thing the military or mounted police wear that drapes over the horses bum. I thought I had found a company that makes them www.hackamac.co.uk but they seem to have gone out of business.

thanks for your replies. I could steam hay but I always think feeding cold wet hay in winter can't be too pleasant. It only seems to have happened this year altho the haylage is from the same supplier. Might try a different brand and see if that helps. PS Tried ReadyGrass last night instead...

I am having to stable my horse all day at the moment because my fields are so wet. He can't have hay because he coughs. Normally he is fine on haylage when he is only fed it overnight and gets grass during the day. But if I feed him haylage all the time he gets really bad diarrohea...
