Has anyone else ever complained to Joules about their clothes shrinking in the wash, particularly the thicker fabrics and the sort of aertex tops? I have even hand-washed mine from the start but they have still shrunk so my daughter ends up wearing all my clothes because I can no longer sqeeze...
Hi watcher, yes, I've spoken to Tony from Brownbread but they have just sold a pony which would have been suitable and they don't have any more at present. If you do hear of anything please think of me. Thanks. Annie
Thanks magicmillbrook - I don't think he will come up for sale again as his owner says her mother in law is going to ride him now so he will be kept in the family. Still, maybe it wasn't meant to be.
htobago - the_watcher has been in touch about a Highland which her friend was selling but I...
Cinders, I am really pleased for you that you've found a horse. Hope all goes well for you!
I have just rung someone who breeds Highlands and is not too far away so, even if she hasn't got anything for sale at present, at least she is one more contact who knows what i am looking out for...
I do have my heart set on a Highland. I can find plenty of youngsters but I don't have the time (or talent) to bring on a 3 year old and all the older ones seem to be sold when I ring up about them! I am sure that I will find one eventually. I have had a look at the Highland Pony website but...
Thanks everyone. I am not going to give up yet. My OH and daughter say I will be tearing my hair out with boredom if I don't have a horsey to play with and I think they may be right!!
I had seen a lovely Highland gelding and decided that he was just perfect for me but the owner has just e mailed me to say that she has decided today that she no longer wants to sell him. I am really disappointed and my 13 year old daughter is almost in tears because we were going to share him...
I feel sorry for you because I know just how it feels, having had the same thing done to me i.e. being sold (not loaned unfortunately in my case) an extremely anxious horse. At least you can send her back so don't be too downhearted. I am sure that you will find your perfect horse soon and, in...
I am so sorry to hear this. I don't suppose you will ever find out who did this sadistic thing but if you do I hope that they can be "dealt with" appropriately. I am thinking of you and poor Susie xx
Oooh, another fan of purple acessories! I have just sold one of my horses and I sent him off with that exact same purple headcollar. I hope his new owner continues to dress him in "manly" purple - lol. George is looking as gorgeous as ever by the way.
I have had great success with a good physio combined with "dry needling" (a form of acupuncture) to alleviate the muscle spasms. Nothing else has ever worked or given me so many almost pain free months.
Thanks everyone for your input. I have decided that I am not happy with the current yard so I am making enquiries elsewhere and hope to move next week, all being well.
