    Equestrian Vision have the 2008 BE tests but I don't think this year's tests have been made available anywhere. You can get the 2009 BD tests on a CD if that helps

    The company that produced them have gone bust but they're still listed on www.equestrianvision.co.uk so I assume they have stock. Can't comment whether they are useful of not I'm afraid as I've not tried them!

    I also heard a rumour that it was to be the last, but was told it was the hunter trial run the following weekend by the local hunt rather than the BE event that was going. I'm not sure how reliable my source was though?!!

    Whole heartedly agree - completely fed up with the incessant rain and can't wait for spring.... It hasn't stopped raining all day here.

    I've just got round to reading the current issue of H&H more thoroughly and found on the inside front cover that you can watch programmes with both Pippa Funnell and Mark Todd for free in January. Great viewing with 2 of my all time heroes!

    Giving up competing...reasons?

    Don't give up competing and become a 'leisure rider', if you're anything like me it won't work. Without the incentive of competing it's not the same and I'm definitely not cut out to be a 'happy hacker', it doesn't sound like you are either!!

    I always thought I was fairly competitive but since having a baby I realise just how much! I used to ride most days before work in order to keep myself and horse fit for competitions. I dont' have the time or money for BE now and without anything to aim for the appeal of riding isn't there at...

    Very doubtful, especially as they say tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable! I've never seen touts either. You can just pay £7 to go in and shop if you can't get the tickets!!
