Sharp to me means a very over reactive horse eg the type you get on and feel the back up muscles tight and then spooks at anything one that will go from walk to shooting sideways and bucking prob the type that hardly accepts the leg more a professionals ride.
Definitely different to a forward...
Come on victor meldrews ;) I think everyone should have a bit of sparkle in their horsey lives!!
You can see my browband bling in the Avatar my daughter has one for her pony in a sparkly blue!
However I also love the plain leather and so like to mix it up depending on how i feel and what Im...
mine are in by mid day and out in the evening.
I won't be riding in 28 degrees so will either ride early first thing or late in evening
My mare with pink nose has a long face net thing both have fly rugs because those horse flies are really coming out now
After having a gelding I never wanted a mare exactly for this reason of hormonal changeable personality. However when looking for a pony for my daughter snd a new horse for me what have I ended up with...yep you guessed it 2 mares!!
There seem to be alot more mares available at lower/more...
Wouldn't it be marvellous if it was possible. I wouldn't mind living in a static caravan (with some heat and hot water) in a field with your horses around.
I think the question needs to be asked if your trailer god forbid starts snaking with two large horses in what would you prefer to be in for the greatest stability? long or short wheel? To me its a long wheel with 3500kg towing capability
Haha I had to have a Google as i learnt that info years ago...was relieved to find i wasnt making it up!!

I have a similar problem with my mare
She has huge shoulders and wide ribcage. So the saddle had to sit behind/off the shoulder and due to the wide ribs the girth needs to sit more forwards than the girths straps naturally fall...oh it could be described for ease as a forwards girth groove!! ;p...
Exactly this I think it really depends on the horses personality.
If it was difficult to handle and ride i would say no but if it is an easy going type then shouldn't be discounted
You are best with a 4 wheel that can tow 3.5 T a long wheel base is better than a short wheel.
Shoguns, toyota landcruisers, landrover, i think a Kia also can tow that weight.
I have an old shogun that tows two large horses well. You need the power and stability when you get hills turns etc
Sometimes though i think they just make up a price and charge it! At least £60 at a push £80 is more affordable and allows not just the fortunate to access lessons! But £100 ...just because you can doesn't mean you should
Riding schools at least have to pay for overheads feeds etc before even...
My mare who just turned 6 can also nap.
When she came she would badly drift towards the gate in the arena and sometimes have a little bronc! Or just come to a stand still.
She has stopped the bronc but when out hacking she will just plant herself if she is unsure.
I have taken her out a...
