I am moving my 15.1hh (slightly overweight) Haflinger to a new yard in January. She is a chronic bed eater but I have maintained her straw thus far for 2 reasons:
1- It appears to do her no harm
2- I have unlimited straw included in my current livery
However - where I am moving...
Yes, sadly have ridden in it three times now. Its a gorgeous saddle and it fits her lovely I would have just prefered it £200 cheaper! I just got tired of riding in my bareback pad - lol

why does this always happen to me - I wait and wait and wait and wait for a cheap second hand Derby House Samber wide saddle ...... I pick up my new £695 one at the weekend and today one goes onto ebay nearly new for £395......Grrrrrr

Amazing! They got me out of a very tight spot where I had been sold a custom made new saddle - that didn't fit by someone else. They managed to sell it for me at a good price, get me a great deal on a practically new derby house saddle that fit my mare like a glove and gave me countless amounts...
Its sooo nice and quiet here in the North West but I am just waiting for it to close in - and my mare hates wind - and she's just come into season. Lungeing tonight methinks! :-)
Just think its useful being able to share experiences of service providers like saddlers. Its how I decide a lot of the time who to use.
