It's quite possible - I spent my first season picking my meets and not jumping - my second season I was more up for some jumping action, especially as I had a better idea of where hounds would run.
Go for it - it's tremendous fun.
Yard clear round jumping tonight - someone is bringing a shetland for me (!), then off to Pachesham tomorrow for a PC show where we will be doing a number of classes side saddle... Sunday and Monday, probably just hacking and mooching.

Start riding side saddle in earnest again...first show of the season is just over two weeks away. And first ODE is about 3 weeks, so also some work to be put in astride as well.
