    This is the 'Traditional' method of breaking in , it makes the horse scared , and makes them work out of fear , not willingness. Have you heard of Monty Roberts? , if not you should check him out! (kind horsemanship methods!)

    As long as you have some visible Hi-Viz on then I really would not bother , but just see how the weather is , it may be nescessary.
