Being honest Id prefer a nice solid colour, chestnut, bay, black, brown with or without white on the legs face doesnt bother me good horse isnt a bad colour etc :D Id prefer not a grey or coloured but if it was the right horse I would look past that of course :)

I currently loan a horse on a yard near my house. Ive been friends with the YO for 8 years and known her for a lot longer.
The yard is never full YO always has a few boxes spare and plenty of acreage. The horse I loan is a good schoolmaster type for flatwork and small jumps (less than 2ft9)...
A number of horses here are getting a combination of alfalfa, calm and condition, rowen barburry soft and soak and linseed and are looking very well :)
Two are hunters out nearly every weekend and the others are TB types out competing BS until the BE season starts.

You would need to put a fair bit of sand down ontop of the membrane, We have a hardcore hardstanding, not road planings but not the big chunky stones either, laid it then rolled over it with the JCB to flatten it about 5/6 years ago and its never moved but you can dig at it and the horses still...
We have an ROR on yard, he is fed Alfa oil, flaked maize(corn), power and performace, linseed meal and beetpulp. If he needs any extra for competitons he gets a heaped round scoop of oats split between two feeds.
