    Gloustershire grass growth

Vet said all she did was visit colics all weekend so I would say ours is definitely being productive …even if it doesn’t look...

Thanks, I think that's what she probably will need- I can't find the daisy ones but are they like these from rideaway? http://m.rideaway.co.uk/polly-hat/

    Riding hat for child

My friend has an 8 year old daughter who she is struggling to find a hat to fit. The children's ones seem to be the wrong shape (in told her head is very round!) and the adult ones are actually ok at the front but gappy at the back- does anyone have any suggestions for where else she can look...

I think I've unintentionally made a riding arena!

This is very interesting, I am also on deep clay that is currently half under my own little lake..... Have you put in drains or taken any of the topsoil away?

Can a saddle really be so unhelpful?

What a pain! I see your point, would a Kent and masters be an option? I was shown one the other day and it looked super comfy and you could put the same gullet width in that you have at the moment?

Can a saddle really be so unhelpful?

Yes defiantly, I had a bates saddle on my tb which I loved hacking in but used to fall off pretty much every week.... Changed the saddle as it started rubbing my horse and I stopped falling off! Turned out it was pushing me forwards tho whole time, that combined with my naturally flopped...

How 'much' heel first, and CC barefeet please :)

My 12 year old WB was diagnosed with caudal heel pain following intermittent lameness 2 years ago. MRI showed a couple of issues with the right fore, he was given tildren and I took off his shoes. He spent last year just plodding around and then I got pregnant so although hacking fit (thanks...

    Horsebox Dealers

Badminton horse boxes, thoroughly recommend them. I was messed around by horseboxseller, who just didn't seem to want to sell me a box. Badminton horseboxes found me exactly what I wanted and paid great attention to detai, would definitely recommend :)

    Lyneham Heath farm..

They do a lot of work to ensure good ground so it will be as good there as anywhere... And the only problem with it is that once you have schooled there everywhere else is disappointing :)

Navicular - is it just shod horses?

Have a look at the Rockley blog, they rehab a whole range of horses for various foot pain issues, some have been shod but some have also been barefoot. It's all to do with how the foot lands. :)
