I absolutely love both the welsh and the part breds, we used to bred a few ourselves and years ago stood a welsh D of old Llanarth lines. For competition imho, those old lines can't be bettered, they take some searching for, but they are about. There are lots in the Sydenham lines and also...
We tried all of the above with our thug and without a doubt, the Universal was the most successful. A kineton noseband worked for a while, and we thought that a waterford would be the answer but it wasn't at all. Eventually we stayed with the same ns lozenge mouthpiece and varied the sides...
Cherry was the examiner for my exams and couldn't have been nicer, she was very encouraging and understanding of my bad attack of nerves. When I met her later she was lovely. I haven't had a lesson, but have heard nothing but good about Hannah Moody. :)

I would recommend Sue Snell, she's not far from Gainsborough in Misterton. She will travel to teach. PM me for a number if you're interested. She has a very calm style of teaching and has brought on her own horses herself up to Advanced Medium.
Ours have a dog suit from Equafleece, which is water repellant rather than waterproof, but we've been out with the dogs in awful weather and they've been dry and toasty, even the shivering whippet! We've only ever had the fleeces, which last for ever, but I think they do a totally waterproof...
