Kentucky coverage for those without an FEI sub

Thank you teapot, much appreciated. My friend & I were just struggling with the fei TV (grrr!), but were able to watch through your link :-)

Finding a future dressage horse (Welsh Cob!)

I absolutely love both the welsh and the part breds, we used to bred a few ourselves and years ago stood a welsh D of old Llanarth lines. For competition imho, those old lines can't be bettered, they take some searching for, but they are about. There are lots in the Sydenham lines and also...

Tom McEwen's Diesel has failed the first horse inspection

British Eventing's explanation is that Diesel became a little sore in his back while travelling, that it's nothing serious. How sad for Tom. :(

    Another "eventing cob" question.

We tried all of the above with our thug and without a doubt, the Universal was the most successful. A kineton noseband worked for a while, and we thought that a waterford would be the answer but it wasn't at all. Eventually we stayed with the same ns lozenge mouthpiece and varied the sides...

BD test riding clinics - Steph Cooper or Cherry Elvin?

Cherry was the examiner for my exams and couldn't have been nicer, she was very encouraging and understanding of my bad attack of nerves. When I met her later she was lovely. I haven't had a lesson, but have heard nothing but good about Hannah Moody. :)

    Myler bits has anyone..

We used one very successfully re-training on an extremely strong tank of a connemara cross. He was very comfortable and happy in it, he's now back in a french link snaffle now the penny's dropped.

Burghley or Blenheim? Which one is best?

I've only been to Bleinheim once, years ago... But for me it's Burghley. The atmosphere makes it my favorite! I have friends who are diehards, who camp every year, but it always depends on the weather for me ;) I do enjoy going on thursday or friday when it's not so busy, and we walk the course...

    Trocadero?

I can't tell you about youngstock, the one we had we owned from a seven year old. I can only say I would have another in a flash, wonderful temperament, super movement and willing. Lovely scopey jump. We haven't had an easier horse on the yard. Never put a foot wrong. Ours had competed up to...

Recommend me a decent flatwork Instructor/Trainer Lincoln ish area please

I would recommend Sue Snell, she's not far from Gainsborough in Misterton. She will travel to teach. PM me for a number if you're interested. She has a very calm style of teaching and has brought on her own horses herself up to Advanced Medium.

    Dog coats/rugs

Ours have a dog suit from Equafleece, which is water repellant rather than waterproof, but we've been out with the dogs in awful weather and they've been dry and toasty, even the shivering whippet! We've only ever had the fleeces, which last for ever, but I think they do a totally waterproof...
