    Dangerous mare

Thank you all :-) I actually haven't been on here for years but was looking for something else and google brought me here. I thought I'd see if my original post was still here and then made myself feel old by realising it's about 10yrs old now!! I'm so glad I put it all in writing - I'd...

    Dangerous mare

Morning All Not sure if anyone would remember the original thread but thought I'd give an update on the "old" girl as she is now. She is still a grumpy opinionated witch most days but wouldn't change that for the world. She's 19 now and I've just retired her sound. She had a tough old start...

Dog won't walk with dog walker

Thank you all :-) He really is a funny little dog. I walked him this morning and he raced me to the door and did loop the loop down the garden. In the rain!! I think if anything he actually goes on better walks with her as I'm usually pressed for time before work whereas she tends to go...

Dog won't walk with dog walker

I am incredibly lucky that my neighbour doubles as my dog walker and walks my 4 dogs Monday to Friday. She's a lovely lady and never hard on them - if anything she's a little soft. She's been walking them for over a year now and the dogs know her well and all 4 greet her enthusiastically. On...

    Frightened of clippers

Michael Peace does a clipping DVD which is well worth getting. My mare would rear and strike at you if you turned clippers on. Followed this DVD and on day 1 had clippers running against her and following day I clipped her. She now 'accepts' the process as opposed to forcing her.

    Le Mieux Snug Boots

I have these and have medium on my 16.2hh fine boned tb. I really like them and they don't heat her legs up. If she had a fraction more bone though I'd have needed large

    Kitchen colour

Honestly chap came to service boiler today and I suddenly saw it through a strangers eyes. There is mud everywhere it seems. Like not huge amounts - just enough to mean I apparently need to clean for 10hrs a day! I was considering painting it brown................???

    Kitchen colour

Ok random question of the day but what colour have you painted your kitchens? I have 4 dogs who spend a lot of time in the kitchen. The sight hounds like being up high so sleep on the windowsills or the top of the crates. Kitchen is currently yellow with white skirting boards and I think...

    Loss of a horse

I lost my 30yr old boy nearly 2 yrs ago and last week out of no where I was sat in a traffic jam on the way to work and was suddenly crying about missing him....... Lord only knows what prompted that! The first few months were tough and honestly auto pilot is a good thing. I promise current...
