Mattes really are worth the money. They wear and wash well and every horse i've used them on has like them. I will but popping one on vinted in the next week or so as i lost the horse it was for and its too small for the new girl.

I have had horses go really well in them and a friends horse refuses to go in anything else. Like anything, what suits one doesn’t suit another.
