My gelding fractured his pedal bone play fighting over the fence with another horse, he had a month box rest and then out in very small paddock with heart bar shoes - took 4 months and he was sound and back in to normal shoes. We did 6 months of only hacking and then back to normal work. That was...
My 4 year home bred gelding seems to get anxious hacking in open spaces. He doesn’t nap or misbehave but seems tense and changes from his normal big stride to a choppy Shetland stride. He will canter but is reluctant (it doesn’t make any difference if he is in front or behind)
He is excellent to...
My vet recommended them for my mare who had mud fever and multiple courses of antibiotics, steroids, flamazine etc.....
They were a faff but worked absolute wonders, you probably want spares as you will need to regularly change them to wash and you need to make sure you get the right size.

She came with a Kent and Masters GP but it just moves to much, will have a look at the Ideal. I think you are right about the shorter panels which is probably why the monoflap saddle seems to fit her well.
Hi
My ISH mare is built downhill and has a very slight roach back, luckily she has decent withers but she is also narrow at the shoulders. Trying to get anything to fit that doesn't move forward is a nightmare, I have found a lightweight monoflap jump saddle that fits for hacking/jumping but...
