I can definateley recomend the mounting block and polos strategy! however long it takes keep at it, even if some days you dont get to ride and you just get on and off a couple of times. Start off just walking round the mountain block in big circles, then stop and make the horse stand with you on...
Just a quick question, and probably a bit dense so sorry, but .... why does my horse over reach? Is it conformational or just due to a poor way of going? To be honest i have never really known why it happens, just what it is!
Thanks
Am buying a new bridle and the rhinegold comfort snaffle has been recommended to me as a nice bridle at a good price, any thoughts on this? or any other recommendations? am able to spend up to £90 - 100.
thanks

yes! with 6th form, work, coursework and 12 hours a week of gymnastics training on top of general horsey regime and riding, i really dont know how i make it through!!
thanks, just needed reassurance! some people at the yard that i am on can be a bit funny and only accept things done their way, (all horses rugged up to the eyeballs!). x x
Maybe a stupid question, but ... was wanting to get my horse clipped in a high trace clip, but none of my rugs have neck rugs on, will he get too cold do you think? He is turned out in the day and in at night.
