i thought a lot of the younger riders showed exactly what class there is in the sport and was seriously impressed with how maturely they rode...put some more experienced riders to shame!!!
did feel sorry for mary king but she was pushing him a bit hard for only his secong 4* especially seeing...
definately agree about certain areas and buttercups...unfortunately my horse must have developed it as he got older as he has been in the same field for bout 5 yrs and hasnt had the whole time. The only tips i have got is savalon and baby oil are good for removing the scabs, preventing washing...
I remember reading a post about this a while back but never got round to replying. My horse suffered from it last year and slightly the year before and has got it again this year. we believe it may be due to the clover and am getting the grass topped tomorrow but obviously nothing is conclusive...
i use to have a lurcher who was a rescue dog and they are amazing pets. she was quite timid...and when my mum use to shout at us kids the only one that use to take notice was the dog!!! she was amazing and the most georgeous animal with not a nasty bone in her body..she is very much missed but...
that horse had a funny way of going..saw his round at burghley but thats the way he obviously liked to go and did well...very sad news though but the poor rider is devastated
