So I have just moved down to the borders for a job in September and I took my horse with me. At first, it was ideal because I could ride my horse straight after work (finished at 4:30) and I rode him most days. My problem is that the nights are getting dark much sooner now and soon I won't have...
I made sure I kept cleaning the clippers of hair but who knows.
Thank you everyone for your helpful replies, I have since gone and bought my own set off clippers, apologised and told the YO what happened and offered to pay for the repair. Hopefully it won't be anything serious and may just be...
I am going to speak to her today about it. I thought that the fuse in the plug and a circuit breaker would do the same thing? I have looked it up online and it said that this wouldn't have harmed them but she seems to think it has. Don't really know what to say to her as I couldn't have done...
A friend took the fuse out and tried a couple of different ones and they still didn't work. Think there might another fuse inside the clippers that I can't get to.
So I borrowed the clippers that belong the the livery yard I keep my horse at on Saturday evening but the blades were quite blunt so I stopped and waited until today when I could borrow sharper blades. Today, I carried on clipping him and I must have only been using them for about 20 minutes (I...
Its for college and I was told that was okay. Also, some of the questions aren't specifically to do with the area. It would only be a small yard with around 12 liveries so I know there would be enough business but I needed at least 30 replies so the lack of answers is not really relevant but...
Just replying to this so that it comes up in the recent feed again. I need 8 more replies so I would really appreciate if people could fill this in. Even if you aren't in the area, it's fine to make something up.
Thanks for your reply. These questions were just to see which would be most important out of the answers I gave. If I was actually going to open this livery yard, there is plenty grazing which would be available all the time and there is also an on site toilet there.
Thank you :)
Hi there,
This survey is for my 'Planning a Business' module at college (I'm studying Equine Studies) and it would be really helpful if people could fill it in. It's mostly for the area near where I live but the more answers I get the better! The link for it is just below,
Thank you...
I have an 11 yo highland pony who hasn't really been schooled properly before and have just started schooling him the past few months. He usually just hacks out as I don't have a school at home but I have recently moved him to the trekking centre where I work, he is also a trained deer pony so...
