This is super sad. I remember watching it years ago starting at the Unicorn pub in Wilmslow.
Is there any reason why a new hunt can't be re-elected in it's place?
Or perhaps an existing hunt can do the old route?
So in short I have absolutely no issue jumping 3ft, but if it's like consistently like 5ft hedges I will probably be very uncomfortable.
Is there way around the bigger ones, if there are? Is there normally people at the back who may be in the same position as me?
Can anyone give me a brief run down of what this hunt is like? I’ve been told it’s fast with jumps up to 1m.
How long is it?
What’s the route?
Is the above accurate?
Thank you
I wanted to see if there’s anyone around the Northwich area that is looking for someone to part loan their horse to.
Or if anyone can recommend where I might go to look for horses for loan in my area.
Thanks.
Thanks everyone for your comments and also thanks for being realistic.
I realise what needs to change so I will have a good long think about what I want.
Yeah :( I feel like I knew this was going to be the answer. Out of curiosity, what were yours hours/commute?
Part of me is thinking I need to make changes to allow me to do this, rather than trying to make it impossibly difficult fitting it around my life as it is now.
I don't want to get to 50...
Hi All,
I used to have horses when I was younger and pretty much had to give up when I went to study in Uni due to pressure from parents.
I'm in my 30s now and my dream never changed, to have my own horse again.
The only problem is I can't find a way of logistically making it work. I work 9am...
I used tinypic to upload them and then just pasted the links into the text box. There is a way to actually upload them as pictures but im new here so havent figured it out yet.

Yeah, keeping on top of farriery for horses with feet and leg problems is really prio. Also worth having the vet out if you notice anything or even just an annual visit to double check it. The sooner you catch something the more likely it can be resolved. You can't risk a thing with horses legs...
My pony was pigeon toed. He would occasionally stumble but i never noticed any patterns really, I did wonder if it was because of his toes though. The farrior was great with him, but eventually the inside of his hooves would grow bending inwards and he would be a bit less stable as it continued...
