Could you get her a companion pony/horse? Whilst it's great that she has some company with the cows, horses do better with company of there own kind. Of course there are exceptions to this. I have known horses that prefer to be kept away from others

Thanks for the replies, he's only got a lightweight waterproof at the moment as he rarely needs a rug. Do you think he might need something more than that with a clip? Sorry, I've got zero knowledge with clipped horses as I don't clip mine

My Shetland always gets so itchy this time of year, but he seems worse than usual due to the very warm days we've had recently. He's rubbed himself bald in places. Would it be OK to clip him? I know it's the wrong time of year but I'm hoping it would make him comfortable. Alternatively is...

No I didn't have it fitted. I used the measurements online. I'd say it fits pretty well, if I went down a size I wouldn't get it done up. But I think a larger size would be even wider across my shoulders. The zip is a bit small and flimsy tbh

Can you use a large haynet and tie it into the box? That's what I do with mine. They are unshod though

Yes, it does seem to warm up and flex quickly. I did think it's quite wide across my shoulders, but couldn't go down a size as I'd never be able to do it up!

Anyone else have this body protector? Mine has just arrived. Fits great, feels quite light and comfy. But I'm finding my arm movement seems pretty restricted. Is this normal, does it give eventually? I don't usually wear a body protector at all, have had the same one for the last 16years...

Mine live out 24/7. They seem to lie down or roll wherever takes they're fancy. I doubt they would use anything that I had put down specifically for them to roll or lay on
