    What do you do with your shetlands?

    We have 4 black shetlands, they basically live wild. Last year we sat on one of them in the summer just to play around but otherwise they are left to their own devices.

    Do you think bareback riding would improve a riders seat?

    I totally agree with the the pain brought on by rising trot with no stirrups. I was sore for days after doing it for 10 minutes!!
