Good news everyone! Got the rope out by pulling it stand by strand. He was a very good boy. Had a physio from the village check him over and he's all good as new. Thanks to everyone for the advice! Really helpful and have a happy horse again.

I wonder if anyone could help me, my horse was cross tied and picked up his back foot to scratch his face and got his foot stuck on his rope. He panicked and caused the rope to be wedged in between his foot and shoe. I cut him free and he has no injuries. My YO helped cut the rope either side...
