What are the distances for trotting and canter poles for a 15hh horse pelase?

I was trying one with a nickel mouth piece, but bought one with a metal mouthpiece, which is colder. he is certainly more comfy in the nickel one, so, told by many people to try wrapping it in latex

I have been advised to wrap ponys bit in latex. I have the latex, do I cover the whole mouthpiece or just the edges?

Which is more economical? How many bales would I need to get a decent bed, I have a fairly clean pony. he is on a shavings bed, and I usually put 2 or 3 bales in a week.

For the last couple of weeks, pony has been pulling his water bucket over in his stable overnight. I have put the bucket in a tyre, still pulled it over. I have tied the bucket to the tyre, and the tyre to the wall, but guess what!! He pulled it over again this morning!! Whats peoples ideas...

So, pony needs 4 metformin tablets each day. I have never had to give him any tablets before, can I have some ideas as to how I can get him to take them if I run into problems!!

My sec B welsh pony has laminitis and has been tested for EMS this morning. There have been over the last couple of years been 3 horses at the yard tested for EMS, and the owners were told that the horse cannot have anything to eat for a certain amount of time before the test. When I collected...

Hopefully we are at the end of a bout of laminitis for my sec b, he is now getting very very bored standing in his stable! Are there any pony nuts that are suitable for laminitics that I can put in his treat ball? Just to give him something to do?
