Sorry to hear you fell off. To stop your mare from panicing you could have someone walk her round whilst you hold a light coloured saddle cloth on her. Pull it off her and use some large treat to throw on the saddle cloth that she can see. Have her handler show her the treat and you will soon...

Ive given up on boots, all makes seem to slip down on my 14hh pony, then he slips all over the place when he is walking on them! I only use bandages and find they are very quick to put on once you are practiced!
