    Snotty nose

Hi, I just wanted to let the very kind people that responded to my message the update. I spoke with my vets this morning and they think he may have sinusitis and have prescribed a 5 day course of trimediazine which will hopefully clear it up. Thank you again for your help

    Shoes on for vetting

I am interested in purchasing a mare that has been barefoot for a year. I am concerned that when she's lunged on hard surface for the vetting she'll be foot sore as the yard only has gravel. Should I insist on having shoes put on?

Ok, so the vets been today and discovered he does have mites so they've given him and injection for that and coming again in 2 weeks to give him another 1. Will have to monitor this as he may need to have them every 6 months. They ruled out worms as I'm on a very strict worm count/worming...

    HELP PLEASE!!!! Violently rubbing/itching cob

That's interesting as that's what I'm feeding him as suggested by tops pec . They said to try using hifi molasses free or their top chop lite. Only bought the hifi molasses free as that's all my stockists had at the time. Wonder whether it's worth me trying the top spec top hop lite instead. Thanks

    HELP PLEASE!!!! Violently rubbing/itching cob

I had thought the same thing about him getting too hot. I'm reluctant to clip him as he's barely ridden and didn't want to have to rug him. I'll also mention frontline to the vets. Thank you
