    Angry, disgusted, devestated...trust no one!!!

Sorry Beausmate, you are right :) Very sorry OP that you have lost your mare. :(

Redwings have taken in 26 horses...

Good news they have been rescued :) Isn't the influx of abandoned or poorly cared for horses/ponies and donkeys a direct reflection of the poor state of economy in this country and the triple dip recession? Good horses simply don't sell, horses are abandoned, there is no money to buy hay...

Quite a few biting comments here. Not really what you need at this difficult time. :( As far as you know, you had everything in place to ensure appropriate care for your mare and I sincerely hope, she will get better very soon and will be finally be reunited with you :)

Cannot ever let dog off lead.

You are right CaveCanem. Some breeds are not as easily trained as others. I have Alaskan Malamutes (mine were always OFF the lead dogs) much to the disapproval of other sled dog owners but they will be put on the lead near other dogs, joggers and live stock. However just because some...

Should racing two year olds be banned?

    Too good to be true?

Still waiting for the Police to make their move, but I have already been warned that things take a "LONG TIME". Haven't heard from the bank yet following my second letter :( Thanks for asking :)

    Too good to be true?

This is the chap who conned me. He's West African and lives in Leicester. Used exactly the same line. Working away in France and will deliver anywhere. Where is it advertised? Would be helpful, as the Police is watching him and waiting for him to strike again. Thanks.

    eBay Fraud - BEWARE!!!

Following a visit from the police, I now know a bit more: It would appear it was a West African immigrant, who lives in Leicester. Maybe only allowing people, who will work and contribute, to immigrate to the UK would help? He was responsible for a number of these frauds and the bank...

    Too good to be true?

Thanks, Galmourpuss. I am normally a very careful person, but I am not very eBay savvy (or internet for that matter). The eBay invoice looked very genuine to me and they said all the right things :( Thanks for your apology, Kerrieberry :)

    Too good to be true?

I find your statement quite offensive, kerrieberry, as I am one of those people. Please don't make statements such as these in a public forum.

    Too good to be true?

SCARY really how many already know about this scam and YET nothing is been done about it. I had to go to my MP to get the Police involved!!! Thanks for sharing these details, glamourpuss :)

    Too good to be true?

I suspect once it's pulled the fraudsters are gone with their current details and appear elsewhere. Not to worry :)
