If your horse is retired it will have little effect on him. It is possible to keep a horse with a murmur in light work - I believe different vets use different scales of severity? (Some grade to 4, some to 5, I've been told.) Pretty well all of my old boys have had a murmur of some sort - it's...
Mmmm, I was taking a pub ride out from work just before Christmas and as we were hacking along a path an averagely scruffy bloke started to walk towards us - I began to edge the ride away when he flashed his police ID and explained he and his colleagues were looking for stolen property thrown...
Have you tried the Musto tweed jacket? I was devastated when I got one for Christmas, only to find I needed to be at least 5ft 8 for it to look right...
Dunno, what make has sticky brakes (often stops dead, difficult to restart, other times don't apply at all), bad roadholding, capable of 0-60 in a nanosecond (often when not required), heavy on fuel and with good upholstery?
Whenever my old boy has damaged himself (hind check ligament, shattered hind splint bone, deep digital flexor tendon) he's been turned out because he would rather starve himself to death than stay in! In each case he's healed surprisingly well, although I didn't admit I'd turned him out the...
Mmmm, I get all wistful when my RI rides my pony - he's very positive and the pony that could spook and nap to Olympic standard positively dances for him and simpers at him afterwards! Oh, and decked me AGAIN tonight with a spook right at the end of a good lesson - but I'll get there...
Deen City Farm? I bought a pony from there a couple of years ago and I got off the Tube in South Wimbledon I think. The yard seemed welcoming and professional and the horses looked well-cared for.
What about the Musto Innovation? Beautiful jacket if you are about 5ft 8 (cut quite long). I got bought one as a present but at 5ft 1 it just doesn't sit right - how gutted am I? It's just sitting in my wardrobe.
I agree with everyone who thinks your boy is still a baby - don't rush him, he's still green and time spent on the basics now will reward you with a terrific pony. He looks a cracker!
