How did you find your confidence building safe saint?

Mine was advertised as a happy hacker, a 15.2 Coloured cob called Tinker. I had him on LWVTB. That was 20 months ago. We now do XC showjumping and a bit of dressage. He is a plod, but will go up a few gears when asked. I had never done XC before I had him as I didn't like jumping all that much...

    Anyone got a 'van' horsebox?

I've just recently purchased a 3.5t horse box and I've taken it to a weighbridge fully laden with just one 15.2 cob, and everything I would ever have in it, full tank of fuel etc and no way would I have enough payload to carry another horse or pony. But it was only ever bought to carry one...

    Anyone got a 'van' horsebox?

What you should also remember if you are unlucky enough to be involved in an accident and you are found to be overweight, your insurance would almost certainly be void.

Jeep advice - landrover defender '01 or kia sorrento '06

Sorento definitely, love mine and it was brilliant in mud and snow. Fantastic to drive and I've pulled 2 large horses and a 505 with mine. Have had a box now and was going to down size my car, but can't bare to part with my Sorento as I love it!

    Recommend me a 4x4

I have a Kia Sorento and love it, mine is manual and tows 3 tonne. If I remember rightly the auto tows 3.5 tonne. Had mine for 5 years from new and its never let me down. Gutted when they made the new ones with a lighter chassis as I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

    To call vet or not...

My horse had the same problem, time and time again vets said its was flies, allergies and conjunctivitis. After flare up after flare up he was finally diagnosed with Uveitis.

    Horse sleeping a lot

Mine is out at night and in in the day, he's been found flat out most of the time in his stable. Never seen him lying down at winter time, he's only 12.

    Court action over horse

When I was taken to court it took 6 months to get there, and I had to take back the horse and give a full refund, the judge in my case did actually ask the claimant why she didn't sell the horse for whatever she could get and sue me for the short fall. I had legal advice off many different...

    Sleep Well Andy

I've not been on here for a while and was shocked to read this, I watched as you battled with his weight and how he was transformed into the beautiful boy in the pictures today. I'm so very sorry for your loss, he was a credit to you. Sleep tight Andy :-(

    do you agree with this?

I've made some very good friends because I've had horses, and still kept my horse-less friends. I was diagnosed with depression before I had owned horses, and to be honest not had it since. I love my horse and spending time with him, but I also spend lots of time with friends and family.
