I'm in NI and people i know bought a connie off this dealer I think. He's a nice pony, quiet and sporty to ride but he had to be on his own in the pasture because he always kicked other horses. While you are waiting to get a new more permanent yard which is safe, could you move them right now to somewhere like there a rehab type of yard or somewhere without access to oaks that does temporary holiday livery. Even if it is expensive for a few days it would buy you some time away from acorns.

Old Toggi canyons in winter or ariat tellurides in warmer weather. Both waterproof and lovely thick soles. Ariats in particular are really comfortable but i should have gone down half a size when i bought them.
