We used to do some competitions with a 4x4 and trailer, did single nights and weekends once or twice. We'd take tents to sleep in and use the trailer for storage and changing. Always used to work fine apart from being a bit cold sometimes!
mine used to do this, dont no if it would work with yours but i used to circle behind the start box for a bit doing lots of walk - canter - canter - walk transitions and really get him firing off the leg so once in the start box would put my leg on and hed really go. Almost trying to get him...

would also be interested in replies, noticed this evening horse had a similar sounding lump but on the outside of a hind fetlock. He is slightly lame behind as well so much appreciated if anybody has any past experience of this?
