My boy had one on his shoulder when i bought him. I treated it with Hypercal cream (can get it from Holland and barratt) and a year on it still hasn't shown any signs of coming back. There are many forms of sarcoids, Princes was just a hard lump. Some can bleed and cause the horse discomfort...

As far as i'm aware he hasn't been on box rest (ive only had him for just over a year) Im going to talk to one of the girls at the yard if i can turn her horse out with him. Hopefully then he will start to get into a routine.

Disgusting. That poor horse, this should not have been shown and you would have thought the tv crew would have realised horses are not meant to look like that and could have reported it. Poor little thing! :( xx
