My Boy is 19 and is off hunting Saturday for the first time in a few years! He's not very fit(just got him from his owner where he was chucked in a field with no rug) but i'll gage when he's tired and take him home!
Hunting, drag or otherwise, will always stand for one thing. In my opinion if you don't agree with this and the heritage that it represents you shouldn't partake in the substitute.
but wouldn't it be more distressing to see them dying emaciated in a field. although it is hard to hear and obviously in an ideal world all horses would be in a warm fluffy home. that is not reality. and so long as the animals were shot humanely i see no real issue in what has happened here
