She's had the rug on for a couple of hours a day. I will try washing with hibiscrub for a few days and will keep her un-rugged and see if there is any improvement if not then I will phone the vets.

My horse had scabs on the left side of her withers the hair and scabs fell off but the skin is quite red and is weeping she doesn't seem bothered by them at all. I am scared to put a saddle or rug on her incase it makes them worse. What should I do???

My horse is constantly pulling her shoes. she has bad front feet so she needs front shoes during the summer (when the ground is hard). Is there anything that I can do to stop her pulling as many shoes ??

my Shetland came in from the field lame on her left front leg today. There is some heat on the inside of her leg but there is also a small hole on the sole of her hoof. what should I do????

I find that dry shampoo is really good for my highlands wild mane. Gold Label Mane & Tail Shampoo is also good and it is not to expensive ( £3.99 for a 500ml bottle) Touch of silver or frizz ease is the best.

my little sister has just learned to canter but she pulls on the reins when cantering and starts panicking when her pony may stops. How do I get her to stop pulling on the reins she said that she doesn't realise that she is doing it.
