I use my own tools, so much easier. However have been down and find that others have used my tools, have found them in stables, left on yard, with the RS tools. I only lend them out if I know I'm going to get them back.

I do. I just lightly hack mine, he's semi retired but still has his moments in the field! just have to be careful. He's got a great farrier which helps no end. He enjoys the odd short hack. He's 16 now and on no medication for it.

How about :
Chesnut mare, middleweight cob mare. Can be lazy, tends to stress at pretty much anything. Prefers to live out, good do-er. Hard to catch, likes routine. Worries in new situations. Doesn't jump, happy hacker (could go all day!). Headshakes in summer months.
