Hi!
I echo your experience almost perfectly....the prof I saw (eventually) said that it was too late to do a blood test and that the baceria mimics your own system so if you've had it for a long time, you may not find it - a false negative result.
It has been a LONG haul back and only part...
Hi! yep....I'm the same....and find it very difficult to talk about - it took 2 years to diagnose and I felt that my life was ended - I had become housebound and incapacitated....am tons better now but still not back to my best 3 years on....the prof I saw said it would take 5 years and I...
Furniture polish, allegedly?! have not tried it myself but am about to due to ridiculous cost of tail sprays! Will let you know but prob worth a go if your beast is OK with aerosols?
Good luck!
Hi,
We did our barn 2 years ago. I wanted HUGE stables so have 2 x 15' square and a 10' x 15' for the pony. Things that we have since thought of and wished we'd considered.....
Where to position the muck truck/muck heap close to stables but out of prevailing wind (we live in a wind...
Ariat Bromonts - my calves are 36cm (happened to have a measuring tape handy!) inc baggy jeans....
Now - any suggestions for cheap priced Ariat cobalt pro paddock boots?
Thanks!
Pop into Old Dairy Saddlery and ask the lovely girls in there? there is a yard in Bushton but not sure of name?? (sorry, pretty useless really!)
Might your farrier know of anything suitable? or are you expecting to have to change?
Good luck and welcome to our end of Wilts!
Hi,
You really need a specialist to advise you.....we buiilt our 30' x 120' barn last year - concrete panels to 5' and timber cladding above with concrete panels as partitions as my stables are 15' x 15'. It was not the cheapest way to go but has been absolutely fantastic - airy in summer...
I use the Rockies yellow big blocks in my fields as safe for horses and sheep - they all seem to love them.....can't do any harm, not expensive, not mollasses based so doesn't send them all crazy.....everyone looks good to me! both sheep and horses all love licking them and they don't chew the...
My beloved Woody was hacking up to 30 and it really kept him interested, supple and moving. He died at 33 following a tendon injury he did pratting about in the field with the others!. He was still showing and enjoying himself well into his late 20s and attended the local meet at 30, where it...
Hi,
It is looked at pixel by pixel.....the term "won by a nose" is a BHA official term - won by a pixel doesn't quite sound the same!
Copies of the photo have been sent to the owners and trainer with compliments of the firm who provide the photo finish service - the reason that they weren't...
My boys are out as I am not well and can't look after them properly (they think I may hav Lymes Disease from a tick bite so waiting for tests - in the meantime, I am really unsteady and dizzy and can't see/deaf in one ear etc etc - host of neuro probs - nice!!!)
They were always in at night...
Thank you everyone! I am pretty poorly and constantly unsteady, dizzy and many neuro problems that just get worse and worse.....hoping that they can diagnose SOMETHING!!! I have had no bullseye or mark but have been "not right" for about 18 months and then crashed out on 16th March this year and...
Hi,
I have been really poorly, unable to drive or ride or do anything for the last 8 months. I haven't been "right" for at least 18 months, despite being one of the fitest outdoorsy people - got horses, sheep, smallholding etc and used to work in racing.....
Anyway, to cut a very long story...
2 things.....
1. Sheep are truely wonderful and I adore mine to bits (all hand reared pets) - anyone who says that they are stupid is barking up the wrong tree or got the wrong sheep!
2. a word of warning.....I lost my beloved favourite sheep when a friend's "dominant" shetland pony stamped...
