    Ladies. Serious question...

I have nice cotton thongs that I ride in...I buy them one size too big so they're nice and comfy! I live in thongs anyway so the hungry bum dance is a daily occurrence for me! I have some lovely grey jods with a black half seat - so it has the seam over the bum and no knickers on show! :D

    Ladies. Serious question...

Nothing to do with VPL but I think I should give you guys a warning (although you all are much smarter than me and probably have never made this mistake) NEVER go on a 14 mile hack wearing lace french knickers!!!!

I know the protector is designed to keep it waterproof but can the conditioner be used all over the boot? even on the gore-tex treated leather?

    Cleaning Dubarrys!

I bought a new pair of Dubarry Galway boots in January and I have been so very good with them! They are strictly town/shooting boots and my 5 year old pair are all things horsey however they are still pretty scuffed (I can't really drive my manual RR in them cause they are half a size too big so...

When will they ever stand on their own feet?? 21 and 23 yr olds given range rovers.

I feel like I am going to get a huge amount of abuse but here goes...I am almost 20 and I have a RR! I have worked since I was 16 and everything I do is funded from my own hard work and my parents do not support me at all regarding the cost of university living! I pay for EVERYTHING with my...

I know its quite late in the year for this..but the only guaranteed way to remove stable stains is to clip them! Especially on greys!

    'Horsey people are bizzare'

I remember when I was turning out the boy I ride after a comp in the summer and in his eagerness to roll he trod on my foot! No big deal except he didn't realise he was standing on it for AGES. No amount of shouting and elbowing him in the ribs could catch his attention but when he did realise...

If you could name a horse

I completely agree! tried to tell my OH exactly that! It's like naming a child - you can't make a decision until you see it. But he is transfixed with the idea of having Gandalfs horse! :D I have always ridden horses ending in a y sound! Eg: Bobby, Peggy, Henry....so I've got a feeling that...

If you could name a horse

If I had a mare it'd be Britannia or Bright Eyes! I do love the idea of a big boy called Saracen though :) OH cannot wait until he finishes university and gets a grey boy - going to name him Shadowfax! :D for the LOTR geeks out there (if there are any others ;) hehe)

    Am I just being fussy?

Your just being honest! And I appreciate that! :) In my heart I know this boy is not for me - I'd say he needs a much more experienced rider. Definetly not a schoolmaster as advertised! Aha! Thankyou everyone :) xx

    Am I just being fussy?

Thanks for all your comments! I had two ponies of my own and a horse when I was younger but I stopped riding at 14 due to school and medical problems! When I was 14 I was cantering, jumping & galloping really confidently! But at 19 I am out of practice - so working on everything up. I am a...

    Am I just being fussy?

I went to look at a horse to share yesterday. He's a lovely 15.2 boy - quiet and really sweet on the ground....but very nappy. I was doing school movements in walk at the top of the field and he just locked eyes on 'mum' and cantered down towards her - I haven't cantered properly in about a...
