I've seen the above product advertised on one of the shopping channels. It apparently emits a sonic sound when the dog barks which it doesn't like. Eventually the dog learns that no bark means no sound. Has anyone ever purchased one of these gadgets and, if so, was it a success?

My dog has been diagnosed with Cyclic Alopecia and looks a bit of a mess, resembling an old worn out rug. The vet says there is no treatment for it and that new hair will start to grow. Does anyone know how long it is likely to take?

Get some clippers from Argos (less than £25) and have a go yourself. Might not look as good at first but after a week it will settle down and look OK. It will save you a fortune. P.S. Might take you a couple of tries to perfect the cut.
