I hardly ever use the outside track. I nearly always have some sort of equipment out; poles cones etc and do loads of lateral flexion in the warm up. I am aiming for quality rather than quantity and if my horse performs well I often finish early.
I also recommend the 101 book.
We have replaced most of our stock fencing with horse netting ( not unlike stock fencing but with smaller holes so less hoof and shoe issues) it is higher than normal stock fencing so horses are less inclined to lean over. I have been well pleased with it. Not sure if its tall enough for...
