Jelka have 5% discount code AVL5 at the moment. A pallet of 30 including delivery comes in at ~£1k.
I have one pallet from last year and just bought a second pallet. They’re brilliant and Adrian is lovely to work with. A couple of mine had a cracked corner and I told them so they said I could...
We’ve our pony on Invokana, and get the prescription filled at the local chemist- £58 for 30 tablets and he gets half a day, so just under £1/day for him. Well worth it for the improvement in his quality of life!
I once put a thank you on a local fb page to a similarly lovely group of cyclists and ended up having a wonderful chat with people genuinely interested in learning how to best pass horses and none of the usual bitching about either group.
I used a shires aviemore which is almost like a saddle pad with stirrups. It’s less secure than some of the cub saddles, but taught them a proper seat from the get go, and meant their wee legs didn’t have any extra bulkiness under them.

I’ve got chronic niggling back problems but have started doing reformer pilates this year which is the best thing for my back ever- I really notice if I don’t go for a couple of weeks.

Scruffy hairy pony did me proud today. The dressage was running about ten minutes ahead of time, and I wish I’d just taken the time and presented at my allocated slot, as I didn’t feel she was fully settled and moving off my leg, so should’ve just kept working her. The test (prelim 13) has a...
In the middle of a half term play date with 6 children on friday, I slightly lost my mind and hid in the loo while I booked to do my first ever pure dressage test. Had a very quick run through yesterday, only to discover I’ve learnt the wrong test! So I’ll be there on my scruffy, unclipped pony...
Penny Sangster is incredible- really really understands both people and horses. I use both her and Mark Robinson- he’s got an amazing eye for details, and I learn loads from him, but when I’m feeling nervous, Penny is my go to.
