I love hunting, and go regularly. I'm very apathetic about racing, I'm not against it but don't watch the Grand National. I'll go to the hunt's point to point, but its more about supporting the hunt than anything else.
He is, but last time I tried no stirrups a pheasant flew out of the hedge and I ended up on my back.. so not brave enough for that again!
Patience is not a virtue I am lucky enough to have unfortunately. Dying to get out in the sun this evening - will have to console myself with painting jumps...

I ride a 17.2 ISH, who is VERY strong and young so leans awfully. For hunting he is in a waterford snaffle, and it works wonders - just check him slightly and he comes back to me plus he can't lean.
For schooling/hacking he is in a copper rollerball full cheek snaffle, which also helps a lot...
Just bought a Z-Itch Sweet Itch rug and very impressed. Goes on over the head, and although a bit faffy stays on really well. Clips on around back legs, and clip goes through front legs to detachable belly flap. Also came with a mask, which stays on brilliantly.

I have just found out that Harvey is a 5 year old, not a 6 year old as I originally thought - so gone from feeling pressure to realising he is brilliant for his age! We are hunting (only jumping when I really have to!), and having some jumping schooling at the minute. As soon as the season ends...
