Oh heck. Yes grass glands are common and nothing normally to worry about short term,
but me being me, I would be inclined to give the vet a ring and ask for some advice. (even though I have more 45 years of keeping horses, I have not had much experience with swellings about the face).

There are some nice ones on e-bay , not sure if large enough for an engraved winners plate to be added, about £30. (16.5 inches tall), also a cut glass rosebowl trophy about £50 (8 inches high).

I am no expert either, but if this were my foal, I would keep note of pulse, droppings, and behaviour, then if rolling still happening after meals, I would telephone the vet and explain what I was seeing. Our vet is brilliant and will freely give advice over the phone . Hope all is well Kimimerra :)
Good points made above. , To me, it sounds a very good idea indeed. I would certainly recommend potential/new or nervous owners have knowledgeable support such as this - and a bonus to have someone coming on to their yard one-to-one .
