But surely the place will lose customers so better to ban the one dog/owner? There was a loose springer in the pub we were visiting last year. Ours were under the table, they know the routine. Eventually, bar staff removed it, apparently it keeps escaping from a nearby garden.
Absolutely bang...
I think everyone thinks they have the best dog and they’re right, it’s the best dog for them.
Akitas, GDSs and XLs worry me, although one was play bowing at G this evening and seemed lovely.
I find brachycephalic dogs extremely sad. Why choose a dog that visibly isn’t fit for function? I...
Have you removed anything from the diet? For mine, it’s chicken, which manifests in lots of itching with one and the other chewed a hole in his paw. Remove the chicken (raw, usually, from a specialist supplier) and the itching/chewing stopped. We’ve had a reoccurrence this week, but no chicken...
This sounds amazing! I must say, a secure garden is so important. The previous 2 were ninjas, I swear, and we had to reinforce every inch of the garden. You’ll have peace of mind now and hopefully not have to supervise her in the garden. Seems like a brilliant result.
Sell, he sounds lovely but needy! After a TB mare and a warmblood gelding, I kind of accidentally bought a 14hh2 cob, who thankfully grew! Absolutely my heart horse. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to sell on a horse that doesn’t bring you joy.
Skoda Octavia boot is huge. My dad had a diesel I borrowed once, really nice to handle too. Half the taxi drivers up north have one, the other half Mercs. My bil has a Merc estate and really rates it.
Don’t have the seats down, they do fold flat. Nissan X trail, old shape, very difficult to source and of course parts aren’t easy to find. Fits 4 springers well.
As pp said, it’s very dependent on dog size. The Skoda Kodiaq is roomy, from what I’ve seen, or the Yeti.
Was that the incident where the owner was followed by someone once he had the dog on a lead?
We encounter horses occasionally in the woods, there’s a yard at the entrance and a bridleway round the periphery. G is extremely wary and hides behind me.
I think I heard that from Monty Roberts back in the day.
I had a warmblood on loan many years ago. He was appalling to catch, even if you his headcollar on, tiny bit of lead rope left on, he’d rip away. He was always last in the field, drove me mad.
Beau wasn’t great the first 2 weeks, so...

My OH sent me the reel. In return, I sent him the one somebody posted on here with the springer haring around whilst the 3 labs sit watching.
Got chatting to a husky owner in the park who managed (without taking a breath) to say that he couldn’t have children so his dogs are his babies and he’s kept a puppy from each litter his Rottweiler has had by the 3 year old husky. Rottskis, apparently. He was wearing camo style trousers with a...
