    Varilayer or normal rugs?!

A varilayer is only a single rug (although you can line them using the Horseware liner system if you so wish). A varilayer has the bulk of its fill across the horse's back and less on the sides. Horses lose most of their heat across their backs, so the varilayer allows for warmth in this area...

My poor cat - advice please

Not to worry Clodagh, I took your suggestion as a joke. I'm still a bit confused as to exactly why KittenInTheTree has posted so aggressively.

My poor cat - advice please

Wow, I did not expect this thread to cause such upset! Can I just say categorically, I would not dream of stealing somebody's pet - I assumed this suggestion was made in jest. Furthermore, I will not be trapping the offending cat to get him neutered (by a qualified professional or otherwise)...

Does no one back small ponies properly?!!

Would you mind elaborating? Only because, on the face of things the ponies look safe and sane and seem to be doing a good job in the homes they're sold to. Admittedly I haven't looked into them thoroughly or been to see any of their ponies, so it just my point of view from seeing their fb...

Does no one back small ponies properly?!!

Yes, fair enough. Interestingly, most of their ponies seem to be sold to the continent. Maybe lots of people in the UK feel the same way. Their ponies do look fab, and they post a lot of updates after sale, so I do think they seem genuine. Obviously, I would never buy a kids pony unseen though.

Does no one back small ponies properly?!!

Look up Premier Ponies on facebook. I've not bought from them but they seem to have some fabulous ponies in, which are brought on properly. They are very reasonably priced also. When I start looking for a pony for my children, I think they will be the first people I would contact.

My poor cat - advice please

Thank you for the suggestion :) I don't think we will be able to completely cat proof our garden tbh. They can get up and over the garage roof, which is a route they both use regularly.

My poor cat - advice please

Thank you for the replies :) I have thought about trying to find his owner, but haven't because I didn't really think there was anything they would be able to do. However, the point about him potentially being a tom cat is valid, thank you splashgirl45. I will try to find his owner and see...

My poor cat - advice please

Thanks Theocat. We are constantly chasing the little barsteward away - even the kids run after him shouting and screaming if they see him. Sometimes, he hides outside my backdoor, under my clothes airer, thinking I can't see him. At those moments, I take great pleasure in pouring a large pint of...
